We are absolutely delighted to share some wonderful news: our Senior Aesthetician, Sammy Wilson, has been named Best Aesthetic Practitioner at the 2026 Surrey Business Awards, announced today by Business Awards UK.
Anyone who has spent time in Sammy’s treatment room will know exactly why. This award recognises what our patients tell us week in, week out: that Sammy combines deep expertise with genuine warmth, honesty, and care.
A Well-Deserved Win
Sammy has been part of the Light Touch Clinic team for over five years, bringing with her more than 16 years of experience in the beauty and aesthetics industry. She was nominated for the award by our Practice Manager, Selma van den Bosch, and seconded by our Medical Director, Dr Natalie Geary, in recognition of her exceptional skill, dedication to her patients, and the consistently outstanding feedback she receives.
Sammy’s contribution goes far beyond the treatment room. As the clinic’s Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Lead, she has helped Light Touch Clinic achieve 100% IPC compliance in external quality assessments for three consecutive years, including during the launch of our minor surgery services in November 2025. It is a side of her work most patients never see, but it underpins the safety of every treatment we deliver. Her expertise is also recognised across the industry: she is regularly invited by leading brands, including our skincare partner SkinCeuticals, to attend workshops and new product launches.
What sets Sammy apart is her whole-skin approach. Rather than treating a single concern in isolation, she is known for thoughtfully combining treatments and modalities into tailored plans that address the skin as a whole, always paired with honest advice on home care.
Her patients regularly describe her as knowledgeable, reassuring, and refreshingly honest. Whether she is guiding someone through their first laser session, tailoring a HydraFacial to changing skin, or helping a nervous patient feel completely at ease, Sammy takes the time to listen, explain, and build a plan that is right for that individual.
