Dr Marie-Clair Murphy

Dr Marie-Clair Murphy is the general practitioner who leads minor surgery at Light Touch Clinic. She trained at Guy’s and St Thomas’, two of the country’s most respected teaching hospitals, and completed her General Practice Specialist training in Tunbridge Wells in 2016. She also holds a BSc in International Health, reflecting a broad clinical grounding that informs the care she gives every patient.

As our minor surgery lead, Dr Murphy carries out a range of in-clinic procedures, including the removal of moles, cysts, skin tags and other minor skin lesions. Because she comes from a general practice background, every procedure begins with a proper doctor-led assessment, so patients are looked after by a clinician who weighs up the wider picture rather than the procedure alone.
