Botox® in Weybridge

The Best Weybridge Clinic For Botox®

At Light Touch Clinic, we are blessed to have a highly skilled team, led by Doctor Natalie Geary, who has been named the best Doctor for Botox® and Fillers in the UK by Tatler magazine.

We focus on delivering an unmatched, safe experience from the initial consultation onwards. We believe your time with us is far more than just a treatment, it is an ongoing relationship that brings out the best in you.

We take pride in using leading technology throughout our clinic, and our Botox® treatment is no exception. Our clinic has been recently refurbished to the highest of standards to reflect our dedication to quality.

Botox® treatment at our Weybridge clinic creates natural enhancement rather than drastic change, making you look still yourself – but you on a great day!

Dermal Fillers vs Botox®

Many of our clients at our Weybridge clinic opt for a combination of dermal fillers and botulinum toxin (Botox®), each offering distinct advantages.

Dermal fillers, true to their name, address lines, wrinkles, and imperfections by filling them in. The hyaluronic acid contained in the fillers promotes collagen production, aiding in skin smoothing. Dermal fillers are effective for treating static lines and wrinkles that are always visible, while Botox® targets dynamic lines and wrinkles that appear with facial movements, like frown lines.

During your consultation, our experts will be able to advise you which treatment is most appropriate for you.

About Botox® in Weybridge

Our Botox® Treatments in Weybridge

Primarily, Botox® is used at our Weybridge clinic as an anti-ageing treatment.

It is the perfect choice for those who wish to look more youthful, yet have no desire for the invasive nature of surgery, nor the expense or lengthy period of recovery post-operation.

It can be used for the following, though this is not an exhaustive list:

    • Forehead lines – Smooth the skin in this visible area.
    • Crow’s Feet – Reduce lines around the eyes.
    • Frown Lines – Worry not, these will be a thing of the past.
    • Bunny Lines – (Lines across the bridge of the nose).
    • Brow Lift
    • Gummy Smile – One that causes overexposure of the upper teeth. Improving your smile without a trip to the dentist.
    • Platysma Bands – Ageing lines or bands in the neck.
    • Glabellar lines – Vertical between the eyebrows (also known as 11 lines.)
    • Marionette Lines – The lines in the skin that run from the mouth to the chin.

The Botox® Treatment Process

Consultation

As with all of our treatments, the first steps with Light Touch Clinic for Botox® treatment involves a thorough consultation at our Weybridge clinic.

This step is crucial to ensuring that the treatment aligns with your expected outcomes. Having consultations conducted by medically trained professionals offers reassurance to patients about receiving the highest standard of care.

Should Botox® be deemed suitable for your needs, you’ll find the procedure is comfortable and pain-free.

Treatment

The procedure consists of applying Botox® via multiple small injections. Before the treatment, a numbing cream may be applied to reduce discomfort.

Following the injections, Botox® works to diminish muscle activity, which in turn reduces lines and wrinkles. The result is a rejuvenated appearance, maintaining the capacity for facial expressions, while the skin looks tighter and more radiant.

Cosmetic sessions usually last from 30 to 60 minutes, representing the entirety of your visit to our Weybridge clinic.

Results

Botox® delivers a subtle transformation, easing the signs of ageing so you can present the finest version of yourself.

Yet, the impact extends beyond mere physical appearance. The desire to look our best is universal, and visible ageing signs can be unsettling. This can influence our mental well-being, impacting confidence and self-esteem, which in turn affects work, relationships, and various aspects of life. This is where the profound advantages of cosmetic procedures come into play.

Typically, it takes about two weeks for the full effects to become apparent.

Botox® – Frequently Asked Questions

Botox® is a brand name of a product containing botulinum toxin, employed in cosmetic procedures to diminish wrinkles by momentarily calming the facial muscles. It inhibits the nerves’ ability to send signals to these muscles, stopping them from tightening and thus, smoothing the skin’s surface.

Botox® is a licensed prescription-only medicine in the UK. At Light Touch Clinic it is prescribed and administered by trained medical professionals following a consultation and suitability assessment. As with any medical treatment there is a potential for side effects, which may include minor bruising, swelling or headache following the procedure, and your practitioner will discuss these with you beforehand.

Usually, the results of Botox® last for about 3 to 4 months. As time passes, the muscles that were treated slowly start to become active again, leading to the return of wrinkles. To preserve the desired effects, periodic treatments are necessary.

There may be slight, brief discomfort, which can be mitigated by applying a local numbing cream. Minor red spots and bruising might also occur on the skin’s surface, but these can be readily concealed with makeup.
The majority of patients report only minor discomfort from Botox® injections, commonly likened to a light pinch. The process is fast, with any discomfort typically lasting for a short duration. To reduce discomfort, we provide topical numbing agents.
Post-Botox® treatment, it’s common to experience redness, swelling, or bruising around the areas of injection, although these symptoms usually subside swiftly. The majority of individuals are able to resume their daily routines right away. It is often recommended to refrain from rubbing or massaging the treated regions for several hours to avoid dispersing the toxin.
Although Botox® is suitable for most adults, it isn’t appropriate for all. If you are pregnant, nursing, or suffer from specific neurological conditions, you should steer clear of Botox®. Our professionals will evaluate your suitability for Botox® during your first consultation.
