Volumising Lip Fillers in Weybridge

At Light Touch Clinic, we offer volumising lip filler treatment in Weybridge to instantly and naturally enhance lip volume. Our expert doctor-led injectors use their knowledge and the highest quality fillers from Juvéderm and Aliaxin to augment your lips, delivering beautiful yet natural results.

As collagen levels decrease and skin structure changes with age, lips often become thinner and lose their natural shape. These changes also contribute to the formation of wrinkles and lines around the upper and lower lips—issues that lip fillers can effectively address.

Our values are synonymous with a belief in the lightest touch to naturally enhance, always sure to embrace the wonder that is you.

Lip Filler Treatment in Weybridge

The Benefits

Lip fillers boost lip volume and shape without requiring invasive surgery. Our dermal fillers, made specifically for the sensitive lip area, are gentle and kind to the skin. Using a micro-canula, our experts administer the fillers in a controlled manner to achieve perfect enhancement and augmentation.

At our Weybridge clinic, lip filler treatments can also reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles around the lips and mouth. The expected results include a natural boost in lip volume and shape, restoring the fullness lost due to ageing. Additionally, our fillers contain Hyaluronic acid, which boosts skin hydration, resulting in a more youthful overall appearance.

• Increases lip volume
• Stimulates collagen production
• Diminishes lines and wrinkles
• Naturally contours the lips

During your consultation at our Weybridge clinic, our experts will evaluate your unique needs, discuss your expectations, and explain the potential risks and benefits.

At our Weybridge clinic, we use Juvederm and Aliaxin fillers for lip augmentation, both of which are clinically proven and FDA-approved, known for their excellent safety profiles.

Our clinic in Weybridge is led by Dr Natalie Geary and we are CQC registered.

At Light Touch Clinic, lip fillers are administered using a micro-cannula. Although you may experience some discomfort during insertion, this technique makes the procedure less painful compared to other injectable methods.

To ensure maximum comfort, we typically apply a topical numbing cream before the treatment.

Yes, you can eat after lip fillers, but be careful of what you consume directly after the procedure.

Avoiding hot or spicy foods is generally recommended, as well as foods that require a lot of chewing, for the first 24 to 48 hours after filler injections. These types of foods have the potential to exacerbate swelling or discomfort in the treated area.

Instead, choose soft, chilled foods and beverages like yoghurt, smoothies, or ice cream to help alleviate lip discomfort and reduce swelling. Also, stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water, as it supports the healing process.

Swelling after lip fillers is a common side effect that usually subsides within a few days to a week, although individual experiences will differ.

Immediately after the procedure, you can expect some swelling and possibly bruising around the injection sites. This initial swelling typically peaks within the first 24 to 48 hours and diminishes gradually as your body absorbs the filler and the injection sites heal.

The objective of this treatment is to restore lost volume in the lips. At our clinic in Weybridge, our lip augmentation experts strive to achieve a subtly fuller appearance that complements the natural contour of each patient’s lips.

The results of lip filler treatment typically last between 9 and 12 months, after which a follow-up procedure can maintain the desired look.

For the first 48 hours post-treatment, it is advised to refrain from medications like aspirin and ibuprofen, as well as alcohol consumption.

Additionally, avoid applying pressure to the lips, prolonged sun exposure, excessive heat, strenuous exercise, wearing lipstick, and smoking. Adequate hydration by drinking plenty of water is also essential.

In your pre-treatment consultation at our Weybridge clinic, you will receive comprehensive information about potential complications associated with lip fillers.

While these occurrences are incredibly rare, they may include prolonged swelling, infection, tissue loss, ulceration, and scarring.

It is typically advised to refrain from consuming alcohol for at least 24 to 48 hours following lip filler treatment. Alcohol has the potential to worsen swelling and bruising in the treated area by dilating blood vessels and increasing blood flow.

Additionally, its blood-thinning effects can heighten the risk of bruising and disrupt the healing process. To support optimal healing and reduce the likelihood of complications, it is advisable to abstain from alcohol during the initial recovery phase post-lip filler injections.

The longevity of lip fillers can fluctuate based on multiple factors, such as the specific filler type, individual metabolism, and lifestyle choices. Typically, hyaluronic acid-based lip fillers last for about 9 to 12 months.

As your body naturally metabolises the hyaluronic acid, these fillers gradually diminish in volume, leading to the need for touch-up treatments to sustain desired results.
